I was asked to create an illustration for the article, "Rough Justice", about Marvin Cotton, a Detroit man who claims he was wrongfully convicted of murder.
Above are several thumbnails I presented to the client. We ended up going with idea 2, which also gave a nice solution to where the cover text would be presented.
